Regulation 17
Qualified radio personnel
Crew performing designated radio duties shall be —
(a)
qualified in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Radio-communication (Certificates of Competency for Ship Station Operators) Regulations (Cap. 323, Rg 2); or
(b)
certified in accordance with the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea and the Constitution and Convention of the International Telecommunication Union.
