Regulation 3
Taking and depositing of urine specimens
Subregulation 1
Every subject who is required to give a urine specimen for urine tests under any of the provisions mentioned in paragraph (1A), and every enforcement officer or other officer authorised by the enforcement officer taking the urine specimen, must do so in accordance with either of the procedures set out in Part 1 or Part 2 of the First Schedule.
Subregulation 1A
For the purposes of paragraph (1), the provisions are —
section 31 of the Act; (b)regulation 15(3)(f) of the Misuse of Drugs (Approved Institutions, Medical Observation and Treatment and Rehabilitation) Regulations; and
regulation 21(2)(f) of the Misuse of Drugs (Community Rehabilitation Centres) Regulations 2014 (G.N. No. S 311/2014).
Subregulation 2
Only a person authorised by the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Chief Executive of the Health Sciences Authority or the Chief Executive Officer of the DSO National Laboratories may have possession of the key to any security box.
