Clause 10

The Moneylenders Act 2008 is amended by renumbering section 32 as subsection (1) of that section, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following subsection:“(2) Where any act constituting an offence, or part of an offence, under section 14 or 28 is committed outside Singapore by a person, he may be dealt with in respect of that offence as if the act had been committed within Singapore.”.
