These Rules are the Moneylenders (Composition of Offences) Rules 2009.
Compoundable offences
The following offences (other than a continuing offence) may be compounded by the Registrar in accordance with section 90(1) of the Act:
any offence under section 11(12) or (13), 13(12), 14(12), 15(5), 16(5), 17(15), 20(2), 30(2), 31(2), 32(5), 33(2)(b) (read with section 33(3)(a)), 34(7), 35(4), 36(4), 38(7) or (8), 39(11) or (12), 40(2), 41(2), 45(3), 60(3), 61(6), 62(7)(b) or (8)(b), 64(2)(a), 66(8), 67(3), 68(2), 69(4), 70(2), 71(4), 72(2), 73(4), 74(5), 75(4), 76(4), 77(4), 78(8), 79(3), 80(6), 82(11) or (12), 83(2) or 84(2) of the Act;
any offence under the Moneylenders Rules 2009;
any offence under the Moneylenders (Prevention of Money Laundering, Terrorism Financing and Proliferation Financing) Rules 2009.
