Clause 4
The Ordinance is hereby amended by inserting immediately after section 13 thereof the following new section: —“Deputy Vice-Chancellor13A.—
(1)
There shall be a Deputy Vice-Chancellor who shall be appointed by the Council and who may exercise any of the functions of the office of Vice-Chancellor in the event of the Vice-Chancellor being unable to perform the functions of his office.
(2)
The term of office and other conditions of service of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor shall be determined by the Council.”.
