Power of arrest
A police officer or an employee or agent of the Board authorised in that behalf by the Board may without warrant arrest a person within the national parks and the nature reserves —
(a)
if he has reasonable cause to believe that that person has contravened this Act or any regulations made thereunder and he does not know or cannot ascertain the name and address of the person; or
(b)
if that person, in contravention of this Act or any regulations made thereunder, fails or refuses to leave a national park or nature reserve or any part thereof after being requested by the police officer or employee or agent to do so.
