Citation and commencement

Citation and commencement
These Regulations are the Online Safety (Relief and Accountability) (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2026 and come into operation on 29 June 2026.
Compoundable offences
An offence under section 48(2), 49(5), 51(4), 52(3), 71(1) or 72(1) or (3) of the Act (other than a continuing offence) may be compounded by the Commissioner or any other person authorised in writing by the Commissioner in accordance with section 77(1) of the Act.
