Citation and commencement

Citation and commencement
These Rules are the Parking Places (Coupon Parking) (Amendment) Rules 2026 and come into operation on 3 August 2026.
Amendment of rule 2
In the Parking Places (Coupon Parking) Rules (R 3) (called in these Rules the principal Rules), in rule 2, delete the definition of “DP app”.
Amendment of rule 3A
In the principal Rules, in rule 3A —
in the rule heading, replace “or DP app” with “, etc.”; and
in paragraph (b), replace “the Parking Places (Digital Payment — Parking Charges) Rules 2017 (G.N. No. S 553/2017)” with “rule 4 or 4A of the Parking Places (Digital Payment — Parking Charges) Rules 2022 (G.N. No. S 76/2022)”.
Amendment of rule 15
In the principal Rules, in rule 15 —
in the rule heading, replace “DP app” with “other payment method”;
in paragraph (a), replace “the Parking Places (Digital Payment — Parking Charges) Rules 2017 (G.N. No. S 553/2017)” with “rule 4 or 4A of the Parking Places (Digital Payment — Parking Charges) Rules 2022 (as the case may be)”; and
in paragraph (b), replace “the Parking Places (Digital Payment — Parking Charges) Rules 2017” with “rule 4 or 4A of the Parking Places (Digital Payment — Parking Charges) Rules 2022, as the case may be”.
