8. Powers of Registrar
Feedback & supportThe Registrar may, for the purposes of this Act —
Registrar
Defined · s 2
“Registrar” means the Registrar of Patents and includes any Deputy Registrar of Patents holding office under this Act;
(a)
summon witnesses;
(b)
receive evidence on oath, whether orally or otherwise;
(c)
require the production of documents or articles; and
(d)
award costs against a party to proceedings before the Registrar.
