Pingat Berkebolehan (Tentera) — (the Efficiency Medal — Military) (Amendment) Rules 2026

These Rules are the Pingat Berkebolehan (Tentera) — (the Efficiency Medal — Military) (Amendment) Rules 2026 and come into operation on 1 October 2026.

In the Pingat Berkebolehan (Tentera) — (the Efficiency Medal — Military) Rules 1981 (G.N. No. S 258/1981) (called in these Rules the principal Rules), in rule 2 —

replace paragraph (b) with —“(b)voluntary service in the Singapore Armed Forces; or”; and

in paragraph (c), replace “reserve service” with “operationally ready national service”.

In the principal Rules, in rule 4 —

in paragraph (a), after “thickness”, insert “, and gold in colour”; and

replace paragraphs (b) and (c) with —“(b)on the obverse side — bear a quadri‑service design with a shield emblazoned with a crescent moon and 5 stars in the centre, which is supported by a laurel wreath;

on the reverse side — bear the inscription “PINGAT BERKEBOLEHAN (TENTERA)”, which is supported by a laurel wreath; and”.

In the principal Rules, replace the Schedule with —“THE SCHEDULERule 4(d)ObverseReverse”.
