Pingat Penghargaan (Tentera) — (Commendation Medal — Military) (Amendment) Rules 2026

These Rules are the Pingat Penghargaan (Tentera) — (Commendation Medal — Military) (Amendment) Rules 2026 and come into operation on 1 October 2026.

In the Pingat Penghargaan (Tentera) — (Commendation Medal — Military) Rules 1981 (G.N. No. S 257/1981) (called in these Rules the principal Rules), in rule 2 —

replace paragraph (b) with —“(b)voluntary service in the Singapore Armed Forces; or”; and

in paragraph (c), replace “reserve service” with “operationally ready national service”.

In the principal Rules, in rule 4(2), replace “with the tri‑service crest centrally resting on it” with “has a quadri‑service design with a shield emblazoned with a crescent moon and 5 stars in the centre, and”.

In the principal Rules, replace the Schedule with —“THE SCHEDULERule 4(1)(c)ObverseReverse ”.
