Powers of exemption

of Poisons Act 1938

(1)

The Minister may by order published in the Gazette exempt from the operation of this Act or of any specific provision thereof —

(a)

any specified person or class of persons; or

(b)

any chemical commonly used for any process in connection with a trade, manufacture or industry.

(2)

Every such exemption shall be subject to such instructions and conditions as the Minister may think fit to impose either generally or in any particular case.
