Citation and commencement

Police Force (Auxiliary Police Forces — Exemption) Order 2022 is Singapore Subsidiary Legislation, cited as Subsidiary Legislation PFA-S727-2022 2004, currently marked in force and first recorded in 2004.
Citation and commencement
This Order is the Police Force (Auxiliary Police Forces — Exemption) Order 2022 and comes into operation on 2 September 2022.
Definition
In this Order, “specified Auxiliary Police Force” means any of the following Auxiliary Police Forces:

Exemption from section 86 of Act
Section 86(3A) of the Act does not apply to an employer of a specified Auxiliary Police Force.
Exemption from section 87 of Act
Section 87(1) of the Act does not apply to a person who acquires as a going concern the business or undertaking of an employer of a specified Auxiliary Police Force.
Section 87(5) of the Act does not apply to an employer of a specified Auxiliary Police Force.
Exemption from section 88 of Act
Section 88(1) of the Act does not apply to a person who becomes a 5% controller of an employer of a specified Auxiliary Police Force.
Section 88(2) of the Act does not apply to a person who —
whether by a series of transactions over a period of time or otherwise, becomes a 25% controller, a 50% controller or an indirect controller of an employer of a specified Auxiliary Police Force; or
ceases to be a 50% controller or a 75% controller of an employer of a specified Auxiliary Police Force.
