27. Composition of offences

The Registrar may compound any offence under this Act that is prescribed as a compoundable offence by collecting from a person reasonably suspected of having committed the offence a sum of money not exceeding $500.

“Registrar” means the Registrar of Political Donations appointed under section 7, and includes any Assistant Registrar appointed under that section;

On payment of the sum of money, no further proceedings are to be taken against the person in respect of the offence.
