Section 18

Notwithstanding the provisions of the Pensions Act and the regulations referred to in section 16(1), any person who is transferred to the service of the Authority under section 15 shall not be entitled to claim any benefits under that Act or those regulations on the ground that he has been retired from the service of the Singapore Harbour Board or of the Government, as the case may be, on account of abolition or reorganisation of office.[19
