Tendered votes
If a person representing himself to be a particular elector named in the register applies for a ballot paper after another person has voted as such elector, the applicant shall on taking an oath of identity, which may be administered by the presiding officer and which shall be in the prescribed form, be entitled to receive a ballot paper and to vote in the same manner as any other voter, but the ballot paper (referred to in this Act as a tendered ballot paper) shall be of a colour different from the other ballot papers, and, before being placed in a ballot box, shall be endorsed by the presiding officer with the name of the voter and his number in the register, and that number shall be entered on a tendered votes list.
