Option for officers in permanent establishment

Subregulation 1

Any junior or senior officer who is in the permanent establishment and subject to conditions imposed by the Minister, shall be given an option to convert to the 2001 Scheme or to remain in their existing scheme of service.
Subregulation 2

Any option exercised by the officer shall be irrevocable except that he may be required by the Minister to revert to the pensionable service, if he was in the pensionable service prior to his conversion to the 2001 Scheme.
