9. Offence to sell above fixed price

Any person who sells any price-regulated goods or performs any service at a price which exceeds the maximum price fixed therefor shall be guilty of an offence.

“price-regulated goods” means goods in respect of which maximum prices have been fixed under section 4 and includes services for which a maximum has been fixed under that section;

Any person who knowingly purchases or offers to purchase any price-regulated goods or who knowingly pays or offers to pay for a service a charge which exceeds the maximum charge fixed therefor shall be guilty of an offence.
