Saving
(1)
The provisions of this Act shall not apply to bets made on any totalisator or pari-mutuel and sweepstakes affected by the Betting and Sweepstake Duties Act [Cap. 22].
(2)
Nothing in this Act shall be deemed to permit or enable any person to take part in any private lottery promoted by a society of which he is not a member.
