Clause 16

Related amendments to Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore Act

The Fourth Schedule to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore Act (Cap. 138A) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “and the Betting and Sweepstake Duties Act” in item 3;

(b)

by deleting the marginal reference “Cap. 22” in item 3;

(c)

by deleting the words “and the Private Lotteries Act” in item 4;

(d)

by deleting the marginal reference “Cap. 250” in item 4; and

(e)

by inserting, immediately after item 6, the following item:“7. The Commissioner of Betting Duties under the Private Lotteries Act (Cap. 250) and the Betting and Sweepstake Duties Act (Cap. 22).”.
