In the principal Notification, in paragraph 3 —(a)replace the paragraph heading with —“Qualifications specified in Schedule relating to prescribed branch of professional engineering work”;(b)in sub‑paragraphs (1) and (2), replace “for the purposes of section 21(1)(a) of the Act, only if it relates to a prescribed” with “in relation to a prescribed branch of professional engineering work for the purposes of section 21(1)(a) of the Act, only if it relates to that prescribed”; and(c)after sub‑paragraph (1), insert —“(1A) Any qualification specified in Part 1A of the Schedule is an approved qualification in relation to a prescribed branch of professional engineering work for the purposes of section 21(1)(a) of the Act, only if it relates to that prescribed branch of professional engineering work and the qualification —(a)is awarded upon graduation after the completion of an undergraduate engineering degree programme of not less than 4 years; or(b)is awarded upon graduation after the completion of an undergraduate engineering degree programme of not less than 3 years, and is supplemented by a master’s degree in that prescribed branch of professional engineering work from the National University of Singapore, the Nanyang Technological University or the Singapore Institute of Technology.”.

(a)

(b)

in sub‑paragraphs (1) and (2), replace “for the purposes of section 21(1)(a) of the Act, only if it relates to a prescribed” with “in relation to a prescribed branch of professional engineering work for the purposes of section 21(1)(a) of the Act, only if it relates to that prescribed”; and

(c)

after sub‑paragraph (1), insert —“(1A) Any qualification specified in Part 1A of the Schedule is an approved qualification in relation to a prescribed branch of professional engineering work for the purposes of section 21(1)(a) of the Act, only if it relates to that prescribed branch of professional engineering work and the qualification —

(a)

is awarded upon graduation after the completion of an undergraduate engineering degree programme of not less than 4 years; or

(b)
