Citation and commencement

Citation and commencement
This Order is the Protection from Harassment (Public Service Worker) (Amendment) Order 2026 and comes into operation on 1 July 2026.
Amendment of Schedule
In the Protection from Harassment (Public Service Worker) Order 2014 (G.N. No. S 750/2014), in the Schedule —
in Part 1, in paragraph 52(2), replace sub‑paragraphs (a), (b) and (c) with —“(a)any of the following social residential homes licensed under the Social Residential Homes Act 2025:
an adult disability home, within the meaning given by the First Schedule to that Act;
a home for children and young persons;
a sheltered home, within the meaning given by the First Schedule to that Act;
a welfare home, within the meaning given by the First Schedule to that Act;”;
in Part 1, in paragraph 52(2)(e), delete sub‑paragraphs (i), (ii), (iii) and (v); (c)in Part 2, in paragraph 1, after the definition of “healthcare professional”, insert —“ “home for children and young persons” has the meaning given by the First Schedule to the Social Residential Homes Act 2025;”;
in Part 2, in paragraph 1, delete the definition of “licensed home for children and young persons”; and
in Part 2, in paragraph 1, after the definition of “SCDF”, insert —“ “social residential home” has the meaning given by section 2(1) of the Social Residential Homes Act 2025;”.
