reg 1Citation and commencement

These Regulations are the Public Defenders (Amendment) Regulations 2026 and come into operation on 1 October 2026.

reg 2Amendment of First Schedule

In the Public Defenders Regulations 2022 (G.N. No. S 913/2022), in the First Schedule —

(a)

in paragraphs 1(c)(i) and 2(c)(i), replace “$40,000” with “$42,000”; and

(b)

in paragraphs 1(c)(ii) and 2(c)(ii), replace “$10,000” with “$12,000”.
