Regulation 5

For the purposes of section 20(1) of the Act, the prescribed time for an aided accused person to make a fresh application for criminal defence aid in connection with a criminal appeal or criminal application mentioned in section 20(1)(b) of the Act is 7 working days before the last day fixed by the court or under any written law to file the notice of appeal or the criminal application, as the case may be.
