Amendment of section 26
Section 26 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “or any officer authorised by the Council” and substituting the words “, or any officer of the Council or the LTA authorised by the Council,”; and
(b)
by renumbering the section as subsection (1) of that section, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following subsections:“(2) On payment of such sum of money, no further proceedings are to be taken against that person in respect of the offence.(3) All sums collected under this section are to be paid into the Consolidated Fund.”.
