Periodic fee
Subregulation 1
A licensee must pay to the Council, within the period specified by the Council and for a payment period starting on or after 1 August 2025, a periodic fee of $14,100 per year for providing or causing to be provided each of the following services:
a service for the clearing of any ticket transaction;
a service for the sale, topping‑up, replacement or refund, or the management of the use, of a mode of payment for tickets.
Subregulation 2
In paragraph (1), “payment period”, in relation to a ticket payment service licence, means any of the following periods falling within the validity period of the ticket payment service licence:
the period of one year starting on the date the ticket payment service licence is granted;
the period of one year starting on an anniversary of the grant of the ticket payment service licence.
