24. Return of radioactive substances held

Every person who at the commencement of this Act has in his possession or control any radioactive substance shall make a return to the Director specifying the quantity of every type of radioactive substance in his possession or control and setting out full particulars thereof.

“radioactive substance” means a radionuclide or mixture of radionuclides, either alone or in chemical combination with other elements;

Every such person shall forthwith supply such further particulars in relation to any radioactive substance referred to in any such return as the Director may from time to time require.
