8. Unauthorised supply of regulated products

A producer of a regulated product must not supply the regulated product or any other regulated product in Singapore if the producer is not registered under section 9(2).

“regulated product” means any class or type of electrical or electronic product prescribed as such under section 6;

A producer of a regulated product who, without reasonable excuse, contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months or to both.
