Circumstances where licensees may use deposits for purposes other than for refunds
A licensee may use any amount of deposit (in respect of beverage containers) provided to the licensee under section 23R(1) of the Act for the purpose of paying any expenses incurred by the licensee as a result of the licensee’s operation of the licensee’s licensed scheme, subject to any restrictions on the amount of the deposit, or any circumstances in which any amount of the deposit, may be so used, as may be specified in a condition of the licensee’s licence imposed under section 30 of the Act.
