Construction of references to Acts and subsidiary legislation revised under this Act
(1)
Where in any written law or other instrument or document reference is made to any Act or any provision of any Act affected by or under the operation of this Act, that reference is, where necessary and practicable, to be construed as a reference to that Act or to the corresponding provision of that Act in the revised edition of Acts or in any subsequent revision of Acts made pursuant to section 10.
(2)
Where in any written law or other instrument or document reference is made to any subsidiary legislation or any provision of any subsidiary legislation affected by or under the operation of this Act, that reference is, where necessary and practicable, to be construed as a reference to that subsidiary legislation or to the corresponding provision of that subsidiary legislation in the revised edition of subsidiary legislation.
