Clause 18

Section 75 of the principal Act is amended by deleting subsection (1) and substituting the following subsection:“(1) The Minister may make rules requiring, subject to such exceptions as may be prescribed, any person driving or riding in a motor vehicle to wear a seat belt of a type approved by the Deputy Commissioner of Police under section 76(1).”.
