Citation and commencement
These Rules are the Road Traffic (International Circulation) (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2026.
Rule 2 comes into operation on 1 January 2027.

Amendment of rule 20E
In the Road Traffic (International Circulation) Rules (R 7), in rule 20E —
in paragraph (1)(a), replace “$4” with “$7”;
in paragraph (1)(b), replace “$35” with “$50”;
in paragraph (1A)(b), after “year”, insert “before the year 2027”; and
replace paragraph (2) with —“(2) For the purposes of paragraphs (1) and (1A), “day” excludes Saturday, Sunday and any public holiday.”.
Amendment of Fourth Schedule
In the Road Traffic (International Circulation) Rules, in the Fourth Schedule, in item (1), before “$40”, insert “$70 per month or part thereof where the period of the permit applied for starts on or after 1 January 2027 or in any other case,”.
