Register to be kept by holder of trishaw licence
of Road Traffic (Public Service Vehicles) Rules
Subregulation 1
A holder of a trishaw licence shall keep a register in which shall be entered —
the registration number of the trishaw owned by him;
the particulars of the trishaw licence issued to him;
the name and address of every trishaw rider thereof and the particulars of the vocational licence of the trishaw rider authorising him to act as a trishaw rider; and
the date and time during which the trishaw is in the charge of every such trishaw rider.
Subregulation 2
The register shall be in such form as the Registrar may require and shall be kept up to date.
Subregulation 3
All entries in the register shall be made in ink.
Subregulation 4
The Registrar or an authorised officer may at any time require the licensee to produce the register at such time and place as the Registrar or authorised officer may appoint.
Subregulation 5
The Registrar or an authorised officer may at any time require the attendance before him of the licensee, or the licensee and any trishaw rider referred to in paragraph (1), at such time and place as the Registrar or authorised officer may appoint and examine the licensee or the licensee and trishaw rider with respect to matters under these Rules.
Subregulation 6
Upon a requisition being made under paragraph (4) or (5), the licensee shall produce the register or the licensee and the trishaw rider shall attend as so required.
