Short title and commencement
This Ordinance may be cited as the Rubber Estates (Surcharge on Assessment) (Amendment) Ordinance, 1961, and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of January 1961.

Short title and commencement
This Ordinance may be cited as the Rubber Estates (Surcharge on Assessment) (Amendment) Ordinance, 1961, and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of January 1961.
Amendment of section 3
Section 3 of the Rubber Estates (Surcharge on Assessment) Ordinance is hereby amended —
by deleting the words “Rural Board” appearing in the second line thereof and substituting therefor the word “Minister”; and
by deleting the words “one half of” appearing in the third line thereof.
Amendment of section 4
Section 4 of the Rubber Estates (Surcharge on Assessment) Ordinance is hereby amended by deleting the words “Rural Board” appearing in the first line thereof and substituting therefor the word “Minister”.
