Power to give directions
(1)
The Controller may give directions in writing to any person to ensure compliance with the provisions of this Act or any rules made under this Act.
(2)
Any person who fails to act or omits to act in accordance with any such direction shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 and to a further fine not exceeding $1,000 for every day during which the offence continues after conviction.
