8. Functions of Council
Feedback & supportThe functions of the Council shall be to make reports and recommendations to the Minister on —

Defined · s 2
“Council” means the Science Council of Singapore constituted under section 3;
(a)
scientific and technological research and development in Singapore;
(b)
the effective training and utilisation of scientific and technological manpower in Singapore; and
(c)
the establishment of official relations with other scientific organisations.
