Clause 98

by deleting the words “holds a representative’s licence” in subsection (2B)(b)(iii) and substituting the words “is a representative”;

by deleting subsection (2C) and substituting the following subsection:“(2C) In subsection (2B), “exempt financial adviser” and “representative” have the same meanings as in section 2(1) of the Financial Advisers Act (Cap. 110).”;

by deleting the word “recognised” in subsection (4)(a) and substituting the word “overseas”; and

by deleting paragraph (e) of subsection (4) and substituting the following paragraph:“(e)is a disclosure, notice, report or publication of a description prescribed by the Authority, and such other conditions as the Authority may prescribe are satisfied; or”.
