These Regulations may be cited as the Securities and Futures (Exemption from Securities Hawking Prohibition) Regulations.

Citation
These Regulations may be cited as the Securities and Futures (Exemption from Securities Hawking Prohibition) Regulations.
Exemption
Section 309(1) of the Act shall not apply to a person when making an offer to another person of —
units in a collective investment scheme authorised under section 286 of the Act; or (b)units in a collective investment scheme recognised under section 287 of the Act,for subscription or purchase, or an invitation to another person to subscribe for or purchase such units, in the course of, or arising from, an unsolicited meeting with that other person.
