Transfer to Corporation of property, assets and liabilities
of Sentosa Development Corporation Act 1972
(1)
As from 1 September 1972, all movable and immovable property in Sentosa and every right and interest therein that immediately before that date was vested in or held on behalf of the Government are transferred to and vest in the Corporation without further assurance, subject to any terms and conditions that the Minister may determine.
(2)
All contracts, agreements and undertakings made by the Government or a statutory body for the purpose of the development of Sentosa and existing immediately before 1 September 1972 have effect, unless the Minister otherwise by order provides, as contracts, agreements and undertakings by and with the Corporation and may be enforced by and against the Corporation accordingly.
(3)
Any proceeding or cause of action pending immediately before 1 September 1972 by or against the Government or a statutory body in respect of any property, contract, agreement or undertaking transferred to the Corporation under this section may be continued and enforced by or against the Corporation as it might have been by or against the Government or the statutory body had this Act not been enacted.[25
