These Rules are the Singapore Academy of Law (Amendment) Rules 2026 and come into operation on 7 October 2026.

reg 2Amendment of Fourth Schedule

In the Singapore Academy of Law Rules (R 1), in the Fourth Schedule, in Part V, in item 2 —

(a)

replace “advocates and solicitors” with “advocates and solicitors, lawyers (NP)”; and

(b)

in paragraphs (a), (b) and (c), replace “advocate and solicitor” with “advocate and solicitor or a lawyer (NP)”.
