Regulation 23
Category Upgrading Board
Subregulation 1
The Commander, SAF MP Command shall appoint a panel known as the Category Upgrading Board.
Subregulation 2
The Category Upgrading Board shall consist of —
(a)
the Commandant who shall be the Chairman;
(b)
the Head Disciplinary Supervisor;
(c)
the Senior Disciplinary Supervisor;
(d)
the Detention Platoon Commander; and
(e)
the Detention Platoon Warrant.
Subregulation 3
The Commandant shall convene a meeting of the Category Upgrading Board once every month to determine the suitability of any serviceman under sentence to be upgraded to a higher category based on his receptiveness to rehabilitation and discipline.
