These Rules are the Singapore Armed Forces Overseas Service Medal (Amendment) Rules 2026 and come into operation on 1 October 2026.
In the Singapore Armed Forces Overseas Service Medal Rules 2009 (G.N. No. S 348/2009), in rule 6 —
in paragraph (2), replace “Tri-Service insignia mounted on a purple circular base” with “Quadri‑Service insignia mounted on a purple circular base, with a shield emblazoned with a crescent moon and 5 stars in the centre”; and
in paragraph (3), replace “For Overseas Service” with “FOR OVERSEAS SERVICE”.
In the Singapore Armed Forces Overseas Service Medal Rules 2009, replace the Schedule with —“THE SCHEDULERule 6(5)Singapore Armed forcesoverseas service medalObverseReverse ”.
