Singapore Armed Forces Overseas Service Medal Rules 2009 · As enacted

The Medal shall be in the shape of an 8-pointed star which shall not be larger than 40 millimetres across.
The obverse side of the Medal shall bear the design of the Singapore Armed Forces Quadri-Service insignia mounted on a purple circular base, with a shield emblazoned with a crescent moon and 5 stars in the centre.
The reverse side of the Medal shall bear the inscription “FOR OVERSEAS SERVICE”.
The name of the person who is awarded the Medal shall be inscribed on the reverse side of the Medal.
The Medal shall be of the design set out in the Schedule.
