Suspension of sentence of imprisonment or detention
Subregulation 1
A court which passes a sentence of imprisonment, special detention or detention may, under section 120(2) of the Act, order that the sentence be suspended for a period of not less than one year from the date of the order, and in that event the sentence shall not take effect unless during the period of suspension the offender commits another offence.
Subregulation 2
An order of court cancelling a suspension order of a court under section 120(3) of the Act shall be recorded in the record of proceedings in the form set out in the Sixth Schedule.
