Short title
This Act may be cited as the Singapore Family Planning and Population Board (Repeal) Act.

Short title
This Act may be cited as the Singapore Family Planning and Population Board (Repeal) Act.
Interpretation
In this Act “Board” means the Singapore Family Planning and Population Board established under the Singapore Family Planning and Population Board Act [1970 Ed. Cap. 168].
Minister to exercise powers of Board
The Minister shall have and exercise the functions, duties and powers of the Board under the provisions of the Singapore Family Planning and Population Board Act.
Dissolution of Board and transfer to Government of assets and liabilities of Board
On 30th June 1986, the Board shall cease to exist and all movable and immovable property vested in the Board immediately before that date, including all assets, rights, interests, privileges, liabilities and obligations of the Board shall be transferred to and shall vest in the Govern¬ment without further assurance.
If any question shall arise as to whether any particular movable or immovable property has been transferred to or vested in the Government under subsection (1), a certificate under the hand of the Minister for Finance shall be conclusive evidence of the vesting of such property, movable or immovable, in the Government.
Existing contracts
All deeds, bonds, agreements, instruments and arrangements, subsisting immediately before 30th June 1986 relating to the Board shall continue in force on or after that date and shall be enforceable by or against the Government as if the Government had been named therein or had been a party thereto.
Pending proceedings
Any proceeding or cause of action pending or existing immediately before 30th June 1986 by or against the Board may be continued and enforced by or against the Government.
Repeal
The Singapore Family Planning and Population Board Act [1970 Ed. Cap. 168] is repealed.
