Short title and commencement
This Act may be cited as the Singapore Polytechnic (Amendment) Act, 1971, and shall come into operation on such date as the Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.

Amendment of section 10
Section 10 of the Singapore Polytechnic Act is hereby amended by inserting immediately after the word “instrument” appearing in the second line thereof the expression “, other than diplomas or academic certificates,”.
