Regulation 44
Subregulation 1
The Union’s Finance Committee shall consist of —
(a)
the Financial Secretary who shall be its chairman;
(b)
3 other members (who shall not be members of the Executive Committee) elected from among the members of the Council; and
(c)
an ex-officio member nominated by the Principal.
Subregulation 2
The Finance Committee shall elect a secretary from among its own members.
Subregulation 3
The Finance Committee shall —
(a)
prepare the Union’s budget to be presented to the new Council and for the approval of the Board;
(b)
submit to the Council a report on the financial affairs of the Union at the end of each term; and
(c)
undertake any project of the Union that may be assigned to it by the Executive Committee or Council.
