59. Penalty for obstructing Agency in carrying out its functions

A person must not obstruct or hinder a member or an employee or agent or a delegate of the Agency who is exercising any power or discharging any duty under this Act.

“member”, in relation to the Agency, means a member of the Agency who is appointed under section 10, and includes any person appointed under section 14 to act in that capacity;
(2)
A person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.
