A licensee must not, without giving the Director‑General prior written notice —
wholly and permanently stop operating the licensable SRH to which the licence relates, except upon the lapsing of the licence; or
for any reason surrender the licence.
A written notice under subsection (1) must be given to the Director‑General no later than the prescribed time before either of the following dates, whichever is applicable:
the date on which the licensee is to wholly and permanently stop operating the licensable SRH to which the licence relates;
the date on which the licensee intends to surrender the licence.
No part of any licence fee, renewal fee or other fee may be refunded to the licensee upon the cessation of the operation of a licensable SRH or surrender of a licence under this section.
