Citation and commencement
These Regulations are the Social Residential Homes (Fees) Regulations 2026 and come into operation on 1 July 2026.

Citation and commencement
These Regulations are the Social Residential Homes (Fees) Regulations 2026 and come into operation on 1 July 2026.
Application fee
For the purposes of section 7(2)(b) of the Act, the application fee for a licence is $400.
Despite paragraph (1), the application fee for a licence is $200 if —
the applicant is a charity; and
the application is submitted before 1 April 2027.
In paragraph (2), “charity” means —
a charity registered under section 7 of the Charities Act 1994; or
an exempt charity within the meaning given by section 2(1) of the Charities Act 1994.
Waiver of fees
The Director‑General may waive the payment (in whole or part) of any fee payable under these Regulations.
